Video Production

From the Brunswick Downtown Association to the Jewish Community Alliance, video production has become storytelling tool that I regularly rely upon to get out the message. Whether promoting a town, an event, or a fundraising initiative, a powerful video can quickly engage a viewer’s emotions like no other medium.

Behind the Scenes

In 2018 the Brunswick Downtown Association partnered with Waterfront Maine to produce a video highlighting the plethora of talented artists and makers working inside Brunswick’s historic Fort Andross mill building. For this project I solicited and coordinated all artists appearances, and worked as the main point of contact with Patra Company (a video production business also based in the Mill) to see through the project from concept to completion.

A Day in the Life of Brunswick Maine

For the Brunswick Downtown Association’s 2017 Annual Meeting I concepted and produced this video highlighting the profound sense of community in this quintessentially Maine college town. It was shot on an iPhone with zero budget but a lot of heart! Currently the video has over 57,000 views on YouTube and is still regularly used to promote the town to visitors and businesses alike.

Volunteer Spotlights

In 2022 I began a video series of Volunteer Spotlights as a way to tell the story of Michael Klahr Jewish Family Services through the lens of our volunteers. As the Marketing Director for the Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine (the parent org of KJFS), it is my job to promote the agency’s work, and this project is a positive and organic way to let the people involved talk about THEIR experience instead of ours.
